Safe Landing

I just wanted to make a quick update for you all, that my flight landed safely in London early this morning. Our flight actually landed an hour ahead of its scheduled time, so that was awesome. Unfortunately, my Dramamine didn't work as well as I wanted it to, seeing as I've been feeling nauseous all day. I still feel like I am on the plane and could barely eat lunch. Today after landing we headed over to Stonehenge. That was really awesome to see. I'll have to figure out how to add images for you all later.  The rest of the day we traveled by a little coach bus to Bath. We checked into the hostel around 3pm, and then a group of us walked around the city. There are some interesting store names here, and don't worry, I took pictures of some of them so you can see for yourself. We are eating as a group here in the hostel for dinner at 7, so about 1.5 hours from now. I hope everything back home is going great!

  1. Hi Claire,

It's a long time to be on an airplane. Glad you got there safely. I saw Stonehenge years ago when you could still walk around amongst the cut stones. Hard to imagine people building things like that! Are you staying in Bath? We thought that was a very cool town. I remember a bakery we went into and I didn't want to leave...everything was so good. I remember the Abbey impressed me with it's archetecture. Seems there was a place called the Royal Cresent too that was pretty neat. Of course we toured the Roman Baths too...just looked...we didn't bathe!
I don't know much about Blogs...but maybe you could create a free account with Snapfish or Google Picasa to post pictures to, then all you would have to do is put the hyper link in your Blog to the site so everyone can enjoy the sights along with you!
What's for supper?? Bangers and Mash? :)

This is going to be great fun! Keep the posts coming!!

    Thanks Claire!
